Hotel Pendini, Florence

The hotel has a great vintage style decor and all the necessary facilities for a family of 3. The rooms are spacious, offering a lovely breakfast and an amazing location but lacking some efficiency in service. Facing the Piazza della Repubblica, the central location makes it convenient to explore Florence with ease.

The hotel boasts a magnificent view of the Piazza with the Duomo and Campanile in the backdrop, making waking up a delight. The rooms, although well-equipped, lack a refrigerator, which would have been appreciated. The opulent bathroom, however, feels cramped and limits the movement space.

My stay at the hotel was a delightful experience overall. The rooms, although not as spacious as expected, offered a unique 'grotesque' painted ceiling that was stunning, especially with the view overlooking the main Piazza, creating a very special ambiance. The service provided was exceptional, with the staff being friendly, attentive, and going out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay. The location was perfect for exploring Florence, being within walking distance of major attractions in the historical center. However, the noise from nearby streets and Piazza della Republica was a minor downside.

I couldn't believe my luck staying at this hotel in the heart of old town Florence, right on the Plaza della Republica. The rooms were better than expected, huge, and wonderfully decorated. The staff was very nice and helpful, although for the most part business-like. The dining experience was fantastic, especially enjoying breakfast overlooking the city towards the Tuscan hills. The location was perfect, with everything within walking distance. However, it's easy to miss the hotel due to the lack of a standout mark.

My stay at the hotel was quite comfortable and pleasant. The room was very large, clean, and extremely comfortable, although the bathroom was a bit small with a sliding door and no extractor fan. The location was fantastic, right off the classiest street in Florence, making it super convenient to walk to all the sites. The service was excellent, with friendly and accommodating staff.

The location overlooking Piazza Delle Republica was fantastic, close to restaurants and key sights. However, there were some issues with service not honoring agreements. The dining experience had plenty of choices but lacked something special.

I can't deny that the hotel's location is absolutely wonderful, overlooking the Piazza and being just a stone's throw away from the Duomo. However, the noise levels in the rooms until late at night can be quite bothersome. On the bright side, my room was spacious and elegantly appointed, allowing a glimpse of the Duomo.
